2011 Hyundai Accent Owner's Manual

From a technical point of view, Accent has acquired absolutely nothing new. It is built on the same platform with McPherson struts in the front suspension and a torsion beam in the rear, which does not please the driver too much with precision and responsiveness in control. So far, the engineers have not begun to change either the springs, or the shock absorbers, or the steering settings, obviously holding global changes until the debut of the next generation of the model. The only thing that can be noted in relation to the restyled sedan is that its front overhang has increased by 2 cm compared to its predecessor, and the rear overhang has decreased by 1.5 cm.
Under the hood of the Hyundai Accent, one of two engines (both gasoline) can be installed: a 1.4-liter engine that produces 107 hp. With. power, or a 1.6-liter with 123 “horses”. But if before restyling the choice of gearboxes was limited to a 5-speed “mechanics” and a 4-speed “automatic”, then in this version there was also a 6-speed “mechanics”, as well as a 6-speed automatic transmission, which, moreover, the same, more economical than the old 4-mortar and consumes 8.8 liters of fuel per 100 km in the combined cycle. True, the new gearboxes are aggregated only with a 1.6-liter engine.
