2013 Hyundai I20 Owner's Manual

Outwardly, the N version can be distinguished by an aggressive body kit, accentuated by details in red, a spoiler on the front bumper, 18-inch wheels with Pirelli P Zero rubber and red calipers, a rear bumper with a large exhaust pipe, and a glossy black spoiler on the lid trunk. Due to changes in the suspension, the i20 N has a 10 mm lower ground clearance.
Inside, the sporty character of the car is primarily indicated by one-piece sports seats, a six-speed “mechanics” handle in a sporty design, blue stitching and interior decorative elements, as well as metal pedals. The red Rev button on the steering wheel is responsible for activating the automatic regassing mode when shifting gears.
Since the i20 was already in good demand in almost all markets, the designers did not interfere much in its appearance, correcting only the front part of the restyled version – headlights, bumper and radiator grille. As for the chassis, in this respect there are even fewer changes. As before, McPherson struts can be found in the front suspension, and a relatively simple and reliable semi-independent torsion beam in the rear. Disc brakes are installed on the front wheels of the Hyundai i20, while the rear engineers limited themselves to drum brakes. The hatchback has a wheelbase of 2525mm, a width of 1710mm and a height of 1490mm. But its overall length due to the new bumpers has slightly increased – by 55 mm, that is, up to 3995 mm.
