Hyundai Santa Fe is a 5- or 7-seater K2 class SUV with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The world premiere of the third generation of the model took place as part of the New York Auto Show in April 2012.

The main novelty of the new generation Santa Fe, built on the modernized platform of the Hyundai Sonata, is that the car is now available in versions with regular and extended wheelbases for five and seven seats, respectively. In the first case, the distance between the axles is 2690 mm, and in the second – 2800 mm. Of course, this also affected the overall dimensions of the SUV. The short wheelbase version, called the Santa Fe Sport, is 4690mm long, 1680mm high and 1880mm wide, versus 4905, 1690 and 1885mm for the long wheelbase.

As for the interior, the third generation Hyundai Santa Fe is noticeably different from its predecessor. From now on, it is much more typical of the style of other models of the Korean company, that is, it is aimed mainly at a youth audience. However, this did not affect either the comfort or the quality of the finishing materials. On the contrary, the creators of the car made every effort to ensure that the Santa Fe was better in every way.
