In the USA, the fifth generation Accent will be equipped with two four-cylinder petrol engines. An all-new 1.4-liter Kappa family engine develops 100 hp. and has a maximum torque of 132.4 Nm. The upgraded engine of the Gamma family with a volume of 1.6 liters has a power of 123 hp. and maximum torque of 150.7 Nm.

The 5 MT and 4AT gearboxes, with which the 1.4-liter engine of the previous generation of the Accent model interacted, will be replaced by modern 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The same gearboxes will be paired with a 1.6-liter gasoline engine.

Hyundai Accent – front-wheel drive sedan class “B”. The restyled version of the fourth generation of the model for the CIS market was presented in St. Petersburg in June 2014.
