The volume of the luggage compartment of the station wagon is 553 liters, and with the rear seats folded down to form a flat floor, it increases to 1719 liters.

From a technical point of view, the Hyundai i40 boasts a front suspension with McPherson struts and a “multi-link” at the rear, an adaptive lighting system, brake and parking assistants, a stability control system, a hill start assistant and nine airbags.

The i40 engine range consists of four units – two petrol and two diesel. Gasoline engines of 1.6 and 2.0 liters with a variable valve timing system produce 135 and 177 hp. With. respectively, and diesel (both with a volume of 1.7 liters) develop 115 and 135 hp. With. power. The motors can work both with a 6-speed manual gearbox and with a 6-band “automatic”.

The i40 is produced at the Hyundai plant in the South Korean city of Ulsan.
