2016 Hyundai I30 Owner's Manual

All engines are equipped with both a six-speed “mechanics” and (except for the base) a seven-speed “robot” with two clutches. But motors with a 48-volt system are equipped with iMT “mechanics”, which automatically opens the clutch when coasting. Moreover, the hybrid system allows you to even turn off the engine during such a movement. It is also worth noting that the performance of the N Line in versions with the most powerful petrol and diesel engines is distinguished by more sporty suspension and steering settings.

All the major changes in the hatchback are under the hood. The diesel engine, despite the similar volume of 1.6-liter, was replaced by engines of the new Smartstream (U3) family. At the same time, the power of diesel engines, although not very significantly, has increased and amounts to 96, 116 and 136 hp. depending on the selected forcing option. In addition to the fact that all i30 gasoline engines now have a particulate filter, it is also a particulate filter, the displacement itself and power remained unchanged: two 1.0 and 1.4 turbo engines with a capacity of 120 and 140 forces, respectively, and an aspirated 1.4 MPI power. 100 HP and 134 Nm. Depending on the power plant, the car can be equipped with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch robot.
