Hyundai Sonata – front-wheel drive sedan class “D”. The eighth generation was first introduced in its homeland, South Korea, in March 2019. The world premiere took place at the New York Auto Show a month later.

The eighth generation Sonata is first of all a new, solid and bright design intertwined with a dynamic coupe-like image. Although this is still a real sedan, which, in addition to everything else, has also added in size: the length is +45 mm longer (4900 mm), the wheelbase is +35 mm (2840 mm), but on the contrary, the car has lost its width and height, -5 mm (1860 mm) in the first case and -30 mm in the second (1445 mm). But the main feature of the eighth generation is its “hidden lighting” (Hidden Lighting Lamps). Remember on the previous generation the chrome strips running along the upper corners of the front optics? So, this technology allows them to glow with the headlights on, which will undoubtedly highlight the car in the evening.
