Hyundai Veloster is a class C front-wheel drive hatchback positioned by the manufacturer as a coupe. The second generation of the model. The premiere presentation of the car took place at the North American International Auto Show on January 15, 2018.

The change of generations brought significant changes in appearance to the Veloster model. The radiator grille is made in the Cascading Grille corporate style (in the Turbo version it also has larger cells), the shape of the front optics is narrowed, the lights no longer “flow” onto the fender, and the bumper has acquired many sharp edges. Perhaps the most interesting are the changes to the “profile” of the car, because the A-pillars tilted back more than in the previous generation, and embossed punching appeared on the body panels both front and rear. The stern of the car was deprived of the rounded shapes of the previous generation: the bumper lines are much sharper, the lights – with an intricate sectional pattern, are now visually combined with the glass of the trunk lid. The exhaust pipes are round instead of trapezoidal.
