2022 Hyundai Grand Santa Fe Owner's Manual
The name Grand Santa Fe speaks for itself. This is a great option for a family roomy car. The new restyled version received modern LED headlights. Now it is a roomy 7-seat SUV with a very elegant view of the road. This model is intended for the American market, but in Europe it is also possible to purchase the Grand Santa Fe.
The main advantage here is the suspension, where an electro-hydraulic clutch is installed, like some modern versions of Hyundai. Comfort is thought out, but the third row, for tall passengers, will seem small. The cabin provides the option of heating the steering wheel and all seats, and landing on them seems like you are driving a car.
The media center is located in the center of the torpedo and has different sizes depending on the configuration.
Hyundai Grand Santa Fe is a K2 class SUV with front or all-wheel drive. The debut of the restyled version of the model took place at the Chicago Auto Show in February 2016.
Despite the fact that the restyled Grand Santa Fe has obvious visual differences from its predecessor (redrawn grille, headlights and bumpers), its main innovations are not striking. But that’s what they’re all about. For example, the list of equipment was expanded for the car. It has an emergency braking system in front of pedestrians, as well as a lane tracking system. In addition, Hyundai engineers have strengthened the body structure through the increased use of high-strength steels. The brakes have also been upgraded. Suspension schemes have not changed. McPherson struts are still used at the front, and a multi-link design at the rear.
In terms of dimensions, the Grand Santa Fe is longer, wider and taller than the original modification. The wheelbase has also been lengthened (by 100mm), giving second and third row passengers more space. So, in the second row, the space above the head became 10 mm larger, and at the level of the legs – by 50 mm, for the third row, these figures were increased by 33 mm and 35 mm, respectively. It is curious, by the way, that in the seven-seat version, the landing formula of the Grand Santa Fe looks like 2:3:2, and in the six-seat one – 2:2:2. Naturally, the opportunity to go on a trip with a fairly large amount of luggage has not gone away. The minimum trunk volume of the crossover is 634 liters, while for the standard modification this figure corresponds to 585 liters.
Depending on the market, one of three engines can be installed under the hood of the Hyundai Grand Santa Fe – a 2.2-liter CRDi diesel engine that produces 193 hp. With. power, a 3.3-liter gasoline V6 GDi with 286 “horses”, or a 3.3-liter gasoline MPi capable of delivering 270 hp. With. power. The choice of gearboxes is not provided. In all cases, the engines are aggregated with a 6-speed “automatic”.
