2021 Hyundai Kona EV Owner's Manual

2021 Hyundai Kona EV is a front-wheel drive electric crossover of the K1 class. Restyling of the first generation of the model. The car premiered on November 11, 2020.
After restyling, the electric version of the Kona crossover did not receive larger batteries, but due to other tires installed from the factory, the mileage on a single charge was still increased. As before, the model is available with two batteries: 39.2 kWh and 64 kWh, but now the range – on the WLTP cycle – is 305 km and 484 km, respectively. A 39.2-kilowatt battery can be recharged from a 7.2-kilowatt charger in 6 hours, a 64-kilowatt one in 9 hours and 15 minutes. But from a 100-kilowatt terminal, charging from 10% to 80% will take 47 minutes in both cases.
The less “long-range” version is driven by a 136-horsepower electric motor, the version with a larger battery is 204-horsepower (however, both give out 395 Nm of torque). That allows you to exchange the first 100 km / h for an electric car in 9.9 s and 7.9 s, respectively.
Externally, the restyled version is distinguished by a one-piece bumper without mimicry for the grille even in the form of a pattern, the absence of protective overlays in black around the perimeter of the car body, redrawn bumpers, as well as modified optics with more advanced filling. As before, the socket for connecting the charging cable is located on the edge of the front bumper.
