2011 Hyundai I40 Owner's Manual

The Hyundai i40 is a rear-wheel drive sedan of the “D” class, developed by the German Hyundai R&D center in Rüsselheim specifically for the European market. The world premiere of the model took place at the Barcelona Motor Show in May 2011.

Externally, the i40 sedan repeats the features of the station wagon. With equal height (1470 mm) and width (1815), it is 30 mm shorter (4740), but just as spacious: from the seat cushions to the ceiling – 1025 mm, the width of the cabin at the shoulder level of the driver and front passenger is 1455 mm, space for legs – 1170 mm. But in terms of the volume of the luggage compartment, the sedan, quite logically, is less than the station wagon. The difference is 50 liters (503 versus 553).
